Eyeko Cosmetics…. a Gift from Across the Pond…LONDON.. that is…!!!
I have been a makeup artist for many years. I have personally witnessed the launch of some great cosmetic lines. Many of them were cutting edge and different from the pack and it is always remains exciting to me! With that being said, let me try to put into words what I felt when I stumbled upon Eyeko beauty line. I was amazed! I was elated! I was reminded why make up is fun!!!
Eyeko is a truely unique collection that comes to us from the UK. I would challenge anyone to go online andand try to log off without purchasing something.
First thing that struck me was all that pink on the web site!!!! There are flowers and Japanese cartoons. The packaging looks more like candy and toys than make up. Kitchy-girly-retro and modern all in one!!! Investigate further and it is totally clear that this line was created for us! The everyday girl who aspires to shine like a star. Eyeko makes that absolutely possible! They take products that result in having that famous glow or the nails you see on your favorite artist at the Mtv VMA’s. The desire to have the lips of that “it” girl and lashes of runway model.
With an incredibly reasonable price point, and packaging that was created so you get every little morsel out of the tub or tube. Speaking of tubes, Eyeko mascara is packaged in a tube that you are use to seeing a lipgloss in. You screw the top off and out pops the wand. The beauty is that you can literally squeeze every last bit of mascara from the vessel before discarding! The mascara is rich and smooth. It fattens up the lashes extends the length and even gives them a perfect fake eyelash curl!!!!! Three products in one!
The fat balms are a product for the lips and face. They can be used to give your pout a beautiful natural and rosy shine. Dont stop there. Take one of those multi use balms and apply to your cheeks for a fresh flush. Two products in one!!
The nail polishes are so much fun!!!! There are the bold blues blacks. There are the more demure nude lilac and classic pink and all equally fun. The formula is practical no matter what color. No color fading due to UV absorbers, and chip resistent and nail strengthening too!!!
It is a full service line including color skincare and just about everything in between!!!!! Great for gifts. Great for spoiling yourself with out blowing a hole in your pocket!!
