Anyway, You are Welcome! Use this site to enter in a product to see how DEADLY IT IS or ISN’T!!!

Everyone now knows that breast cancer is DIRECTLY linked to Beauty Products!!! DIRECTLY! 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed, so you better get your shit together and educate yourself, PRONTO!

pink treesMy life is changing rapidly, for the better! I am excited to be able to change the way I feel through chemical detoxification! My new skincare regimen has been remarkably helpful in assisting me in balancing my hormones and I have never felt better, happier and more relaxed. I now view Sephora as the house that cancer built! It is the most toxic place a woman can shop! It used to be the most exciting castle of glamour to me, and now it has a metaphorical skull and crossbones with an X through it as every product they sell contributes to toxicity and cancer for women! I don’t know when women are finally going to realize that what they put on their skin is stored in their bodies and manifests itself into disease and illness! I realize that this is a very bold statement, but now that I am living proof of how much different I feel as a result of wearing healthy makeup, using safe skin care, and shampoos– I will never go back and be a victim of packaging, advertising, and poison products.

In conjunction with changing my entire skincare regimen, I also use crystal deodorant, no longer wear perfume and sleep in baking soda clean sheets I have never slept more soundly and completely! I no longer have bags under my eyes EVER. It is amazing! I will also save a boat load of money on impulse purchases, because of having to read ingredient labels thoroughly!

I am going to over share here, but I no longer am bloated before my menstrual cycle, have no more PMS, and over all feel pretty euphoric and even keeled. That is the way to master one’s life! If you suffer from any PMS, heavy periods, sore breasts, and bloating, you need to make these changes now because all those symptoms are created by xeno estrogens and contribute to CANCER!

I am also using a natural progesterone called Progesterelle and it has been miraculous even after only one month of consistent use! The creator of the product, Peter Eckhart, MD, will take time out of his busy schedule to talk with you on the phone and give you pointers, and consultations to heal your estrogen over load symptoms and give you the gift of feeling great! I think I might ask him to be on my blog talk radio show!

Watch this video to learn more….

If I can help one woman feel as great as I do now, I will be happy. I simply cannot live with the current statistics of 1 in 8 women being diagnosed with breast cancer! You can have control over your odds if you just make some simple changes — and feel 100% better while in the process!!

Eliminating Xenoestrogens – Success!

xenoestrogens.numbers

If you have read at all about my research regarding xenoestrogens, I am happy to report that now 3 weeks into it, I feel MUCH DIFFERENT! I changed everything I put on my skin and hair and it has made a remarkable difference in how I sleep and feel. I have more energy, and am clearer headed, no head fog anymore, and when I exit the shower I have never felt cleaner! No more parfums, chemicals, fragrances. Just old fashioned clean with a scrub brush and Out of Africa Shea Butter Soap! Done, I also use the soap on my face. http://www.naturalhealth-wellness.com/index.cfm?option=view&newsitemid=13438&nid=9603&optionid=9603

There is a lot to be said for chemicals in products and how they affect you!

Check out this story! http://www.wellsphere.com/healthy-eating-article/are-xenoestrogens-ruining-your-girlish-figure-health-happiness/1178369

Are Xenoestrogens Ruining Your Girlish Figure, Health & Happiness?

Posted Jul 24 2010 1:20pm
When your hormones are perfectly in balance, you feel like you can conquer the world, but when they are off, they can make add volume to your belly, hips and thighs; may cause a number of health problems; and ignite terrible mood swings.

While a number of factors influence the balance of our hormones, women in many developed nations have an additional man-made force playing havoc on our hormones that our great grandmothers didn’t have to contend with–xenoestrogens, compounds that mimic estrogen in our bodies and can alter hormonal activity. They are found in plastics, pesticides and growth hormones given to livestock and poultry, which we consume.

Since men are also inundated with these chemicals, they are also suffering from estrogen dominance when exposed to xenoestrogens, which is thought to contribute to hair loss, atherosclerosis, prostate problems, lowered libido, weight gain and impotency.

Simple steps to minimize your exposure to xenoestrogen, include choosing organic produce whenever possible, especially for the ones sprayed with the most pesticides (click here to see the Environmental Working Group’s list of the top 10 most contaminated fruits and veggies ). Also, buy hormone-free, organic meats and milk, preferably from grass-fed animals.  Use glass food containers and stainless steel water bottles instead of plastics. Paint your home with low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint. Do not microwave your food in plastic containers or covered in plastic wrap. Choose organic, natural body care products and natural cleaning products.

Detoxing the liver will help your body to metabolize xenoestrogens more efficiently. Drink plenty of purified water and eat cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, kale, cauliflower and spinach. In addition to their detoxifying properties, cruciferous vegetables contain an an estrogen-balancing chemical called indole-3-carbinol.

While we live in an imperfect world, it doesn’t mean we have to go through life blindly assaulted by the things we cannot see. Since knowledge is power, the more you know about the things that can hurt you, like xenoestrogens, the more control you can take over your health.

Xenoestrogens are so pervasive in our world, that no one can avoid them. So, how can you detoxify your body and eliminate them as much as possible? Luckily, there are many natural xenoextstrogen detoxifiers to add to our diet or supplements.

Phytoestrogens are probably at the top of the list. Why would you want to put MORE estrogen into your body, you ask? It’s because phytoestrogens, found in plants, bind to the receptors that xenoestrogens bind to and keep them from accumulating in your body.

These weak estrogens, found in beans, leafy green vegetables and oils, are a very good way to detoxify and remove xenoestrogens naturally. Another good detoxifier and cancer preventive is Indole 3-Carbinol found in cruciferous vegetables like kale, cabbage and broccoli.

You can find Indole 3-Carbinol in capsules, but getting it from vegetables also gives you the rest of the plant’s nutrition. It helps your liver remove xenoestrogens and also provides vitamins and minerals that enhance your body’s immune system.

One thing that may NOT be good for reducing xenoestrogens is coffee. Some studies show that caffeine boosts estrogen levels at more than a single cup a day. Of course, there are many more foods and drinks that contain caffeine, so it would be wise to be aware of this when choosing beverages and meals.

By choosing natural foods and personal care products and avoiding plastics, it’s possible to cut way down on the xenoestrogens that enter your body, but you can’t eliminate them entirely. To avoid the weight gain and health risks they pose, use the tips in this article to detox naturally.

It’s not easy being Green, but you’ll find lots of help at Lill’s List. Living green, eating healthy and sharing it all. It’s life – naturally.

Symptoms of Estrogen Dominance

Estrogen dominance can result in many symptoms. Some of them include:

  • Aging
  • Different types of cancers such as breast cancer, edometrial or uterine cancer, and prostate cancer
  • Infertility and other related problems like endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, uterine fibroids, and irregular periods
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Sluggish metabolism, weight gain and distribution of fat around thighs, hips, and abdomen
  • Insomnia
  • Breast enlargement, prostate enlargement, low sperm counts in men
  • Osteoporosis
  • Early onset of menstruation
  • Autoimmune disorders

Whole Foods- Skincare- Supplements to get you by…

TRE--Pretty-Face

Yesterday I stopped into Whole Foods after my work out to grab a salad. I meandered over to the supplements section to find that the skincare and makeup section has grown exponentially. I was glad to saunter up and invest some time to read some labels to find suitable products for my new mission.

My first find:  SeaKelp supplement, which contains iodine and is necessary for estrogen health and horomone balance

Second Find:  Drinkable Fish oil- orange flavored, since the fish oil pills are far too large for me to swallow

Third: Skin Cream for my face: Deep Repair Cream by MYChelle: MyChelle Dermaceuticals’ Deep Repair Cream is an advanced nourishing cream providing exceptional extracts to improve and maintain moisture balance and radiance. VenuceanTM, is from the deep sea of the Gulf of California, is rich in antioxidants and strengthens the skin’s resistance against aggression such as UV light. KambuchkaTM, is a black tea ferment that improves the skin’s quality and smoothness. Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) assists skin healing and cellular repair.

***I like the way it feels on my skin and it has a fresh clean scent! Not perfumy. It performs like a skin cream that has chemicals. UGH, right! I dislike saying that, but it’s true, like a BETTER skincare product? We all know now that chemical infused products are NOT BETTER AT ALL but detrimental, but we were programmed to WANT IT, BUT IT, USE IT! Shame on you Lancome, Dior and all those other big cosmetic companies for poisoning us for YEARS! Fooling us with sexy advertising, packaging, and tempting us with your false promises!

THIS JUST IN! Ladies Please Read This FOR YOUR HEALTH! Part 1

all naturalThis is going to be the first of many posts regarding anti cancer, and women’s health advice! I am determined to do all I can, and not feel powerless regarding the latest statistics 1 in 8 women are going to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Note, my research is going to be focused on breast and uterine, ovarian health, but I will also research other remedies as well and share all my findings with all of you!

I am determined to feel like I am in control regarding my health and my first step has been to educate myself about xenoestrogens! Please click the word for the definition- these are B-A-D! They create horomonal imbalances in the body therefore elevated estrogen, and disease like breast cysts, fibroid tumors, pms, irregular, heavy periods, or frequent periods. Women need to balance their horomones and natural progesterone is often times necessary, should you find yourself with any of these symptoms. It is a great cancer deterrent as well. It must be all natural and put on the skin. I will blog about a product that I am researching very soon.

First, I urge you to check all your products at home that you use on your skin! Did you know that whatever you put on your skin is 100 times more effective than what you take orally. Or some big number like that.. sorry I don’t have that exact fact available at this moment. Now more than ever, it is crucial that you are mindful about what you use on your skin and hair and YOUR LAUNDRY DETERGENT!

The chemicals that are the offenders are the following: Six common chemicals found in sunscreens, lipsticks and facial cosmetics are

Benzophenone-3

homosalate

4-methyl-benzylidene camphor (4-MBC)

octyl-methoxycinnamate

octyl-dimethyl-PABA

All these behaved like strong estrogen in lab tests and caused cancer cells to grow more rapidly. Only one chemical, a UVA protector called butyl-methoxdibenzoylmethane (B-MDM) showed no activity.

All Parabens – BAD!

Possible Safe Toiletries
Carefully check ingredients as formulations change and some products may be good in a product line but not others for the same brand.    www.bewellstaywell.comwww.needs.com

I Love Kandee!

Kandee Johnson, Make Up Artist

Kandee Johnson, Make Up Artist

I happened across this chipper, and beautiful mother of 3 who gives make up tips enmasse via Youtube, and she also writes a couple blogs! A girl that I can identify with, although, I think she has me beat in the “girly” department! We share a love of plaid shirts, make up and skincare. However, I am not sure if she would pick the same outfit I would in terms of my fave, that is my Wu Tang black tee, long sleeved tee underneath, and my 60s leopard swing coat with some ill boots.

She is gorgeous, check her out! I love her make up tips and she is light and airy AND SINCERE.

Tri-RETINOL COMPLEX ES, Your Answer to Smaller Pores and Tighter Skin!

I have been using this now for about a month, and it works well. The first couple times your skin feels taught and dryish, but then as you go into the treatment you can see a big difference in the texture and even-ness of your skin. I definitely recommend this product, it runs about $75, it better do something! I have never used a retinol based product before, and am having no difficulty with terrible drying.

 Tri-Retinol-Complex

    About Vitamin A (retinoids)
Vitamin A is necessary for the maintenance and repair of skin tissue. Medical studies show good acne control and a reduction in facial lines and wrinkles as two most important functions of topical Vitamin A containing products.  Tretinoin is the acid form of vitamin A and classified as a drug by the FDA while retinol and its esters are classified as a cosmetic ingredients. Biochemical research shows that retinol and its esters convert to tretinoin in the skin and can therefore provide the same biological effects when used at an appropriate dose. Vitamin A containing products should not be used during pregnancy.
