I love this face powder! It gives you a fresh glow while providing a sheer and luminous appearance.  It smells nice too!

I have been a makeup artist for many years.  I have personally witnessed the launch of some great cosmetic lines.  Many of them were cutting edge and different from the pack and it is always remains exciting to me! With that being said, let me try to put into words what I felt when I stumbled upon Eyeko beauty line. I was amazed!  I was elated!  I was reminded why make up is fun!!!

First thing that struck me was all that pink on the web site!!!! There are flowers and Japanese cartoons. The packaging looks more like candy and toys than make up.  Kitchy-girly-retro and modern all in one!!!  Investigate further and it is totally clear that this line was created for us! The everyday girl who aspires to shine like a star.  Eyeko makes that absolutely possible! With an incredibly reasonable price point, and packaging that was created so you get every little morsel out of the tub or tube.  Speaking of tubes, Eyeko mascara is packaged in a tube that you are use to seeing a lipgloss in. You screw the top off and out pops the wand.  The beauty is that you can literally squeeze every last bit of mascara from the vessel before discarding! The mascara is rich and smooth. I am on page one and I find something I dont think I will be able to live without!  The Sexy Starlet Kit! Who couldn’t love a product with this name?  Packaged in an adoralble pink clutch, it includes Bad Gal lash Mascara and its rich black tone and ultra fat wand make for serious volume and length. Also enclosed is “Some Kind of Gorgeous” Oil Free “foundation faker”.  It gives natural  airy chiffon-like  coverage and blends effortlessly onto skin.  Finally, “Coralista” a perfectly warm flirty coral-pink blush to sweep all over your cheeks for that back-from-the-beach look.

Aside from the array of kitchy fun sets there are so many unique items to order up “a la carte”.  The glosses glisten without being gooey and sticky. With eight wonderful shades to pick from it is hard to name a fave, but I always have and always will love “Kiss You”.  The clear fuchsia gloss literally looks great on anyone!  “Dr. Feelgood” is an absolute must-have and a total must-do before applying face makeup. I was a makeup artist for Benefit and I feel like, in my heart, I will be  forever.  I could go on about why I love this line for days. My friend Sheri has been mentioning Moroccan Oil for ages, with respect to hair products, and raving about it.  I think she would get it at Louis Licari in the city before they blow dried her hair.  So the other day, while on a mission to completely transform myself from super blonde to warm brown hair, I happened upon Argan Oil at the cash out!  I picked it up and it said on the label, Argan Oil, derived from Moroccan Argan Trees.  I saw the word Moroccan and immediately put it on the counter with all my hair transformation products.

Before Blowing out my new brown tresses, I put some of this auburn colored oil in my hands and distributed evenly through my damp hair.  It has an interesting smell.. not awful.. but the Moroccan Oil used after my haircut at Blaine Rice Salon smelled AMAZING… and I am sure it was much more expensive.  I was already dropping a hundy on my cut, so I forewent the OIL…  My end story is that I love the way it makes my hair feel, soft, manageable, less coarse, and shiny! SO GET YOURSELF SOME! It works.. I read it is good for the skin as well… but there are skin products derived specifically for that purpose… although, our hair and skin are sort of the same, I bet you could rub this into your skin and be fine…

This Argan Oil works well… but I am not sure I would use it on super light blonde hair due to the color of it.

I have had this product just sitting in my bathroom cabinet and have ignored it faithfully for almost a year.  Something made me pull it out and use it last night and I have to say I LOVE IT! I have done a little searching around this morning to see what others are saying and much of it, if not all of it, is GREAT!  I am going to use it religiously and re-post my results, but apparently this woman experienced a small miracle… read below! 

This product claims to “re-contour your face and neck”. I’ve been using it for three months now and my double chin has definitely firmed up. The packaging instructions say to start at the forehead and go downward, but I like to work from the neck upward. I don’t know what effect this has on the performance of the product, but I am very pleased with my results. The compliments from friends and family are something that simply weren’t there before I started using Olay Regenerist Contouring Thermal Treatment. It seriously gave my face a lift, and I feel ten pounds lighter.

The other thing I noticed is that the thermal treatment seems to really moisturize my face. I was a chronic rosaceaand dry skin sufferer, but I haven’t had any trouble with that since I started using Olay Regenerist on a weekly basis. It’s totally changed the appearance of the skin on my face and neck. My mom was so impressed with my results that she went out and bought some. This is one product that has had life changing benefits for me. I like showing off my face now, and it always has a smile. I use a bronzer year round and have been stuck on this older one mentioned earlier in this blog… but had a visit this past weekend from a friend, who is a make up artist! She introduced me to Nars LAGUNA!
