I just want to EAT THESE! THEY ARE SO GORGE.. and colorful! Oliver Green D Ring Belts!!
This is the story of me and my belt company oliver green… I, personally, hand make every single belt I sell and it takes up so much of my time and it can be tedious work, although somewhat zen like because of the repetition.. but it really is A LOT of work! I think to myself every February.. CAN I REALLY DO THIS AGAIN this YEAR? Do I have it in me? I have so many interests, and there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I want..EVER.. and I have to pick and choose and that SUCKS.. I want to do EVERYTHING I am thinking about EVERY DAY. Balance is the key here, and I have a difficult time striking it… I want to write (blog), sew, make cool and helpful videos ( I promise, I will get better at that..) and go to the gym, and work for my pay.. spend time with my dog, and have a social life with friends. How do I do that? If anyone knows.. feel free to educate me. Perhaps I will figure it out and write a book about it someday. We all must work to get our paycheck.. and if our work isn’t truly passion driven, you must incorporate hobbies that are in order to pay creedence to your soul’s path. I do love where I work.. both places.. I also love my hobbies and my belts!
So.. here are some belts I prepped this week and when I see them all together laying there all DELICIOUS LIKE..I think HOW CAN I NOT DO THIS!!?? I LOVE LOOKING AT THEM!! And people love wearing them!!! I do too… So, YEAH, I guess I will be back out there AGAIN, doing my thang.. sewing… and selling… on TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE!!!! Give me strength!
When I think of knee socks, I think of the 80s and this woman who ran The Steuben Club downtown Albany… I can’t recall her name, but she was stylish, and well beyond 40 years old, and regularly wore knee sox with bermuda shorts and loafers to work! She was gorgeous… so.. whenever I see a cool knee sock.. I think of her… These are super cute.. they call them a boot sock and I am guessing because they show over the top of your boot, like an inside leg warmer.. over leggings, under boots… Skulls have become very mainstream and that makes me sort of love/hate them.. because I do loathe trends.. but I like the rocker appeal… I have always been a fan of mixing preppy with rock.. and have confused a great many people in my life as a result.. Is SHE PREPPY or ROCKER?

For us fuller busted women, it can be extremely difficult to find a comfortable bra and I have posted about this more than once. It is totally an issue as under wires can hurt, back fat can be unattractive, even though it may only be BACK SKIN showing.. but all these things and more, need to be taken into consideration.
I am RAVING about this COOBIE.. I have the Coobie V Neck on today, and they are one size fits all! Being a 36 D typically.. I find this bra to be comfortable, great fitting, and smoothing. No Back ripples, adequate support and a non claustrophobic element. I love it! I am unsure if someone bigger than myself will have the same experience, but certainly smaller busted women will enjoy it as well. Go here to get your very own Coobie: http://bit.ly/COOBIEBRA

This is my very first Video Blog.. I didn’t want to over think, over plan, and over prepare… I thought to jump in, do it, get it done, since I told about 6 people I was going to start video blogging.. I HAD TO DO IT… I don’t prefer to be thought of as “hot air.” I am a doer, and that is how I live, breathe and operate. While it isn’t perfect, it was fun, challenging to step outside my comfort zone and go it alone. I hope you enjoy it… I will improve with practice and hope to entertain, inform, and impart wisely, responsibly… responsibly within my world of reasoning, which can be drastically different than the norm… my gift to you is direct, without pretense… me..

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to wear “humorous” clothing, when I can… Life is too short to be so serious all the time, although I do have my serious moments being a Capricorn and all, but we Caps are also known for our dry wit and humor… although these are more “in your face” silly.. they are totally me! Of course, I would have to wear them with black leggings and maybe a long grey top or something because they would need to be highlighted as a great statement. One would have to be cautionary when donning these cartoonish boots, and keep it simple, otherwise the statement could be sadly misconstrued as tacky and cheap… OR.. wait a minute, you could be tacky ON PURPOSE with them in a punk rock sort of way… YOUR CHOICE.. but either way, they are bad a$$ Crazy Fun Silly and THAT IS THE WAY LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE!

We want you to know that we don't get products for free to write about them.. we buy them, use them and let you know what we love! Every bit of this blog is authentic, true, and honest! They are our personal opinions, but we are known throughout our circles to be very much "in the know" and take good care of ourselves, and always want to look, feel like and be our best possible selves (a Karen Salmansohn term)...

A look at a two murders from every character that was directly or indirectly involved! The film takes us on a journey from several different points of view into some unfortunate circumstances surrounding the murder of two people. Each character and scene is directly involved by accident as the two murders were an accident. Dark desperate people do dark desp […]
The dialogue in this film is quite unique and reminiscent of a 1950's film noir detective story. I re-watched this with my friend Mark last night and he kept saying, this is so "David Mamet" with respect to the writing.. sing songy, and poetic. I found the dialogue to be most annoying, most of the time. If it wasn't for the great arti […]
Not being a real comic book reader or being privy to the world of the comic book peeps, I am not sure what to make of this film. I appreciated the Director's vision but the acting was wooden. Not all performances were totally wooden, but most were. The main character, David, played be dreadlock ridden Perren Hedderson was the worst actor of them all, an […]
My friend Brian Howie recommended this film and I have to say almost each and every line is worth quoting again and again in life! Why is it that men always remember quotes from films and women don't? There should be an entire web site devoted to Kicking and Screaming quotes because many of them are genius! Max: "What I used to able to pass off as […]
