Another Great Bra…! Spanx Demi Push Up- SOOO Cozy…

Bra-llelujah.. sort of corny.. but that is the tag line...

Bra-llelujah.. sort of corny.. but that is the tag line...

My friend Kristina told me about this great bra the other day, I went to Bare Necessities online to order it, received it yesterday, ships from NJ, and put it on immediately, and fell asleep! Ha ha ha.. not that it made me tired, but it was comfortable enough to sleep in! I bought the black one.. It has nice thick straps, and a smooth back. She suggested that I buy one size smaller around the back area, like the 36, 38 part of the size, not the cup size because of all the “give” and stretch associated with it. Good advice! I love this bra! Check it out.. it is $62, you cannot put a price on comfort and great support with a smooth back!

What women want! Say goodbye to VBL (Visible Bra Lines) and hello to comfortable under-wire support. This back-to-front flattering bra gives the “girls” the gift of lift! Featuring a flirtatious sweetheart neckline that’s ideal under lower cut tops, you’ll love your look in this Bra-llelujah style!

  • The perfect bra when you need a lift
  • Hosiery back eliminates back fat as it conforms to your body
  • Naturally-adjusting shoulder straps won’t dig in
  • Front closure and soft cups give an invisible look under anything
  • Wear under lower cut tops and dresses

Kat Von D.- I Love Her Style!

Just feel the rock and roll seep outta this picture..

Just feel the rock and roll seep outta this picture..

There are some people in life who are super fun to look at it and eat up. Like you cannot get enough. Kat Von D. of LA Ink- High Voltage Tattoo, is one of those people for me! She is like a live cartoon character of funk, style and heart! They should definitely create a cartoon out of her! She is also caring, beautifully flawed, human, sweet, tough, and rock and roll! I want to eat her up with a spoon! After watching back to back LA Inks, sort of a marathon, when I turn on other television shows, everyone looks so BLAH, plain and underdone! I love the color that Kat puts on her face, her accessories, her style- it is unmatched – I am in love with people who make style a priority- where style is a part of them, where uniqueness breeds, and I get to look at them and get inspired- get happy- and appreciate them because they stand out in a world of BLAH! A sense of humor with appearance is also essential! I love cunning tee shirts and irony in style.

    hello bada$$ girl...

    hello bada$$ girl...

I am secretly psyched because now I get to amp up my look a little bit with my new gig. I will talk more about it once I know it is going to work out! Again, all about defying the norm, breaking down barriers! To me, that is what makes life utterly exciting. Living by your own rules, not the majority- who are mostly BORING, depressed, blah, and definitely uninspired! How does that even happen in this world of possibilities, I don’t know! I cannot imagine not milking life for all its worth, spiritually, to experience everything with a sense of wonder– that is what it is all about! Kat Von D. makes me HAPPY, smile, and look at her different makeup, and clothing- and think, SHE KICKS MAJOR A$$!

    Beautiful Girl...

Say La Vie by Jane Zuckerberg, Rebecca Dolber Ring and Nature Girl Belt Today!

I cannot express to you enough about how craft shows are not about scarecrows, wooden nutcracker figures, and knit toilet paper covers! More people should attend them! It is not easy to find them, but there are sites where you can do searches in your area to find some such as: www.festivalnet.com, www.eventlister.com , www.craftshowlist.com, among many others! I have only been known for my belts with the craft show attendees and the junior league and country club shows, could you imagine if more people knew?! I have hit such a small market and have done well for one girl with a sewing machine!! It is so much fun to make things that others like to buy and wear! It is a high of sorts. Please people, check out SONO Arts, it is a cool festival with a great vibe, lots of creativity and fun.

So today, I reach into my closet and I grab one cool a$$ shirt that my friend www.shopsaylavie.com -Jane Zuckerberg tye dyed! She has a great company where she uses contemporary brand tees, undies.. brands like Alternative and others my friend Sheri would know about! She dyes them these cool muted colors, not all rainbow and typical and I LOVE THEM. I own 3 of her shirts, and 3 pairs of tye dye undies! She definitely knows what is up. Here is my shirt today, taken this am before I jetted to work. (I look like I am ready to kick some serious a$$ in this pose, right?)

You can see a hint of my PUKA shell necklace.. which is totally 70s - LOVE IT.

You can see a hint of my PUKA shell necklace.. which is totally 70s - LOVE IT.

And then I reach into my drawer for a banging ring, and I pick up www.rebecceadolber.com -Rebecca Dolber’s, THE GROVE STAND, Gold Wire Ring, and pop that on.

    belts 002

Then I grab my Nature Girl Belt by www.naturegirldesigns.com byRuthie Lopp, zip it in my J Brand Cut off Shorts and I am ready to ROCK BITCHES!

Totally cool, laid back, led zepp meets Penny Lane, Almost Famous, and sexy. This look feels like me today. If it was a little colder out, I would have put on my Frye Harness Boots with it to complete it all. Instead I have on brown leather wedge sandals with a little bead work, which totally work! Hair down, no makeup.. just chill… Hello Friday. Let’s spark up some Metallica so I can air guitar as I drive and feel cooler than shit in my car alone, bar none…. happiness.

    skull tankhttp://www.queenofevil.com/bazaar/index.html

I have been on a Metallica bender for a few days now and thought Am I Evil, the song, when I saw this brand of tees, and when I saw the word CUNNING on one, I was hooked! These tees are fun, inspiring, edgy and simple, like me. Let’s put on Master of Puppets and slip into one of these and feel fine together….

    What is e.vil?

e.vil promotes the power of expression, it opens doors for people to connect with one another. e.vil is women’s fashion topped with wit. e.vil is a fashion movement designed by the Queen of e.vil. Based on ironic contradictions, the Queen has created a way for her loyal subjects to have an alter ego. e.vil is a revolutionary fashion clothing movement. The brainchild of an accomplished designer, e.vil today represents more than just a brand of clothing it serves as a means of personal expression. The brand concept has redefined the word “evil,” e.vil means: strength, wit, humor, indulgence, drama, sex appeal, and intelligence all in one. http://www.queenofevil.com/collection/series2002/index.html

Over a number of seasons, e.vil as decreed by the Queen of e.vil has become a clothing brand that consumers can connect with. Crafty and clever, e.vil’s ingeniously designed women’s t-shirts, sweatpants, and hoodies have become a favorite of many. The brand is empowering and consumers have an emotional connection with that integrity. Headquartered in New York City, the Queen of e.vil is committed to producing clever and colorful clothing concepts to sustain its fashion forward brand concept.

I Have a Friend Named Ruthie and She Makes Belt Buckles that Shine…Nature Girl Designs

When you meet Ruthie Lopp, you know it! She is 6 feet tall, platinum blonde and a super soul.  By that I mean creative, inspirational, and

    Ruthie Gurl
    Ruthie Gurl

full of life! I met her while dining one evening in Wilton. She was at a table next to me with her mom, and husband and I overheard her talking about her new belt company.  I had to intervene and let her know that I also had a belt company and that it was a lot of fun and she would do well and we have kept in touch since then.

When Ruthie first walked by my table I thought of my best friend who I lost to breast cancer in 2005. She was also 6 feet tall, blonde and beautiful. I said to my dinner companion, “She reminds me so much of Karen.” and the rest is history. I would like to introduce you to Ruthie Lopp, a talented belt buckle artisan who is also my friend!

Her web site is www.naturegirldesigns.comand she is now a Rowaytonite and makes some earthy and fun buckles! Colorful, like my belt prints, but more chunky, funky belt buckle than printy, fun total belt, which is what I do. Check her out!
