Blackberry BOLD, the mack daddy… forget the iphone…and i am a mac user!

beautiful, fast, sleek, and a$$ kickin

beautiful, fast, sleek, and a$$ kickin

This phone is the JAMMY right here!! I know when I am ready to upgrade, this is what I will get.  I have been toiling over getting the iPhone or this, but with the iPhone you have to manually keep checking for new email, otherwise it updates every 15 minutes.  That isn’t good enough for a seasoned blackberry user, we like getting our emails instantaneously!

Plus we love our keyboard, and this one is super efficient and easy to use as the keys are a bit bigger then the blackberry curve.  The screen resolution can’t be beat, and the speed of the network is like lightening! In addition to the camera there is video capability, with no sound.

I highly recommend this phone! Stylish, fast, effective and immediate, all operative key words in my life…

ever wake up with lines on your face and one side more mangled than the other?… face saver pillow to the rescue!

saving MY face now....

saving MY face now....

I was skeptical at first because I like to use two flatish pillows at night and really snuggle into them on my side as I begin to fall asleep! I wrap my arms around them and really use them to cuddle up so when I saw this little pillow which seemed paltry in size, I was reluctant.  But after all the claims the site makes regarding the preventing of aging, I  had to buy this little kidney shaped pillow!  I recieved it and set it up against my other big pillows and used it the first night to wake up with a fresh face! I then used it another couple nights and found myself waking up to look like I never slept, meaning, fresh faced, big eyes, no bags or lines or creases under my eyes.  So, the night before last I was SOOOO tired and threw the little pillow off the bed and resorted to my old school big pillows and got right in there, cuddled them, laying on my side, my arms wrapped around them and fell asleep.  The morning after, I awoke to a tore up face! I had bags under my eyes, a more wrinkled left under eye and looked like I hadn’t slept (not sleeping in the bad sense) for a month!  I am not sure if it was because I was sooo tired, but last night I used my little pillow again, and I awoke fresh faced and ready to rock!  You do the math!! After you read it, you tell me how you cannot be tempted to spring for this at $24.95!

Now, for the web site details, here are the benefits they list to using this little soft gadget:

  • Protects your face while you’re sleeping, so that you do not wake up with lines and wrinkles in your skin.
  • Protects your facial skin from being pulled and stretched when you sleep on your side. Stretching is very damaging. As we mature, we have less elasticity in our skin, so it does not readily return to its original position.
  • Prevents muscle breakdown. The average head weighs between seven and ten pounds, depending on gender and body type. Any amount of weight pressing on your face for hours at a time, on a regular basis creates muscle breakdown, and accelerates facial aging. Skin is attached to muscle, so as the muscles elongate, due to breakdown and the pull of gravity, the skin follows. This creates a tired and aging appearance. Using the FACE-SAVER PILLOW will prevent this damage, which will eventually occur even with young taut faces.
  • Creates better head posture by training you to sleep with your head pulled up from the cervical area. This gives you an immediate more youthful appearance, and helps prevent jowls.
  • Improves oxygen intake during sleep, because your face isn’t buried in a pillow. Oxygen helps your cells renew, and eliminate toxins. Therefore, you will experience a higher level of energy in the morning.
  • The FACE-SAVER PILLOW was originally designed to protect your face from aging. However, there are many other beneficial uses for it.
  • Gives excellent cervical support while sleeping on your back. It also supports your head, so that it will not tip to the side during sleep, which could create pressure on your face. Using the FACE-SAVER PILLOW while reading, watching TV and traveling, will give you cervical support as well.
  • The perfect choice for patients of cosmetic procedures, such as surgery, peels, laser treatments, as well as non-invasive procedures, which are the newest technology in facial rejuvenation. In fact, a cutting-edge dermatologist, such as Dr. Nissan Pilest, Total Dermatology, can even offer non-surgical nose reshaping.  The important function of the Face-Saver Pillow in all this is that it supports the weight of one’s head, therefore protecting the face during the healing process.  Equally important is the fact that it will also protect your face and financial investment for years to come.  Therefore, if you’re considering any type of professional procedure on your face, now is the time to train yourself to sleep on the Face-Saver Pillow.
  • Because of the size and ergonomic design, it’s very effective for proper leg and hip alignment while sleeping on your side. This is particularly important for people who may be overweight, or for pregnant women

How it works:

The most important benefit of the FACE-SAVER PILLOW is that it protects your face when you sleep on your side. Sleeping directly on your face creates an enormous amount of facial damage. The average head weighs approximately seven to ten pounds, depending on gender and body type. When you sleep on your side, in the normal position, it’s like sleeping with a seven to ten pound weight resting on your face.

Not only does this weight press lines and wrinkles into your skin, but it also breaks down the muscle structure, which weakens your very small facial muscles. Sleeping on the FACE-SAVER PILLOW will prevent this nightly damage to your face, because your face never touches the pillow! The FACE-SAVER PILLOW curves around your head, allowing the pillow to bear the weight of your head, rather than your face.

The FACE-SAVER PILLOW is designed to curve around the outside of your face, when you sleep on your side. Your face should not be touching the pillow or the mattress. The weight of your head should be resting on the upper portion of the pillow. The balance of the pillow should be pushed behind your ear. Each person needs to adjust the pillow position, so that it is comfortable, and is protecting his or her face. If the bottom of the pillow extends too far into your neck area, simply push it back, and out of the way. You do not want your lower face to be touching the pillow. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SLIDE YOUR HAND BETWEEN THE MATTRESS OR SLEEPING SURFACE, AND YOUR FACE, AND NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE. THERE SHOULD BE COMPLETE FREEDOM OF CONTACT. YOUR FACE IS ACTUALLY SUSPENDED IN AIR.

Some people find that they sleep better with a little more head elevation than they have with the FACE-SAVER PILLOW. Particularly when they sleep on their side. It is perfectly acceptable to use a small pillow under the FACE-SAVER PILLOW in this position providing the pillow is not too large and fluffy. If the pillow is too large, it will distort the advantages and benefits of the FACE-SAVER PILLOW.

sonic scrubbing… the way I like it… clean, clean, clean

makes cleaning fun again...

makes cleaning fun again...

While this isn’t the most glamorous post, I promise to bring you everything I find great.  Again,  a “Sheri find,”  this little AWESOME tool called the Sonic Scrubber will have you cruising around the house searching for things to clean! Trust me, I bought one for my mother and she loves it!  I don’t know what it is about it, but it is so addictive!  Effective for use on water stains around the drain, on tile grout, behind the faucets, on and on the shower floor with soft scrub.  If you have a glass enclosed shower like we do, this thing really gets around all the gadgetry and the bottom seal of the door beautifully.  It also works great on shower heads and all the little nooks and crannies you cannot reach with a sponge.  Since I do the cleaning now, this tool is a way to get it done  effectively and efficiently!  This little brush unit has a lot of power, and is substantial.  You don’t have to be gentle with it. You can get it wet, change the heads on the unit  easily and it runs on batteries, which for some reason, last a long time in it.  Honestly, this is something you should get for yourself or for you lucky ones, your cleaning lady.  It does make a huge difference!  Click this link for free shipping on a $9.99 starter kit! http://bit.ly/180cJm

They also have units for detailing cars, and other attachments for this particular unit shown above.  It is so inexpensive and so worth checking out!
